What Does a Mobile Massage Cost?

At Pure Awakening, our mobile massages start from R700 for a 60-minute session. We also offer 90 and 120-minute sessions, as well as spa packages for those who want to indulge in a day of pampering. Our travel rates are included in the total price, though they may vary if the therapist travels more than 30km from our serviced areas. We also offer a range of add-ons such as hot stones, aromatherapy, reiki, and manicures or pedicures, for an additional R60 to R300 per extra.

How Does It Work?

Our experienced and professional mobile massage therapists come equipped with everything necessary to provide you with a relaxing and indulgent experience in the comfort of your own home. We bring a portable massage bed, linen, decor, music, and oil warmers to create a peaceful ambiance. In the winter, we also bring electric blankets to keep you warm during the massage. Before the massage, our therapist will consult with you to determine your personal requirements and expectations. Afterward, the therapist will pack up and leave, allowing you to relax in the comfort of your own home.

How Far in Advance Should I Book?

At Pure Awakening, we aim to offer a same-day service whenever possible. We guarantee that you will be able to book a massage within 24 hours of your request. To book an appointment, you can WhatsApp our booking agent at 0647247870 or email judy@pureawakening.co.za. When booking, be sure to provide your physical address and preferred time. We will send you an invoice and booking confirmation to review and ensure that the therapist can find your address easily.

What Should I Do Before My Appointment?

In the winter, we recommend that you warm up the room for about 30 minutes before your appointment. Get into your comfiest clothes and relax; your only job is to enjoy the experience! If you have children or pets, we suggest keeping them in a separate space where you won’t be disturbed during your session.

How Can I Make Payment?

At Pure Awakening, we accept payment by Yoco Payment Link, EFT, or PayPal. We prefer electronic payments for the safety of our therapists. Cash tips are very welcome and can be made directly to your therapist.

What About After-Hour Appointments?

Yes! We are open and available to book between 7h and 19h Mon to Sun, including public holidays, and only closed on the 25th of December. Our therapists are very flexible time-wise and treatments are available up until 23h every day of the week. A R250-R300 after-hour fee is added for bookings after 19h per therapist.

Tipping Your Therapist (and Making Their Day!)

Tipping your therapist is a way to show your appreciation for the exceptional service you received. We recommend tipping 15 – 20 percent of the total cost of the service. It’s always appropriate to tip, but if your experience was not up to your expectations, it’s okay not to tip. In this case, provide detailed feedback to the owner or manager about why you were not satisfied with the service, so they can make improvements and provide a better experience for future clients.
